(Graphic) Designer & Illustrator
Hi again! I’m Sjonnie Verheugt, a Dutch-born illustrator and visual designer based in Switzerland.
At 17, I moved abroad to study at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I graduated Cum Laude in illustration. I completed my degree during the pandemic, and like many others, I felt the urge to explore the world once it was over.
Traveling allowed me to grow both creatively and personally, from working in hospitality to managing social media for EBS Sydney, every experience taught me something new. Even while working behind the bar or in restaurants, I kept my creative side alive by designing flyers, photos, and promotional materials for the places I worked.
Along the way, I’ve also had the opportunity to collaborate with leading international brands, including ORKIN and the Mercedes-Benz Club of America. These experiences strengthened my eye for detail and design.
Years of diverse chapters shaped who I am today: an artist driven by curiosity, creativity, and connection.
After several years of living and learning abroad, I’ve now settled in Switzerland, ready to focus fully on my career as an artist and designer. My work blends the precision of design with the emotion of storytelling, a reflection of everywhere I’ve been and everything I’ve learned along the way.
